Yeah arceus creating one of the trio out of nothing is pretty weird but then again why not just any pokemon for that matter (yes it's the sinjoh ruins but still feels weird that it has to be done there.)

If it was the god, wouldn't it be weird that it is just traveling along someone and can be captured by a trainer? and yes I know this is pokemon were talking about but still. kind of weird.

2:06 starts the cutscene in which Dialga begins fucking up the entire region. 6:14 begins the cutscene in which Dialga begins creating the new galaxy (not dimension).

I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say here. As for why it creates dialga/palkia/giratina, they're canonically the second most powerful entities (only second to Arceus itself). As for why it's a Sinjoh Ruins, probably a place of religious importance, but most importantly it's just a place that won't appear in regular playthroughs so that the event cutscene can't happen literally anywhere.

Being a god that spends its time alone in its own dimension must get pretty boring. Fucking around with a trainer must make for a nice change of pace, it's not like the trainer's life is that long in the grand scheme of things.

I answered that already. Also worth noting that Sinjoh Ruins is a temple to Arceus, and to the creation trio. Creating a different pokemon would not be thematically appropriate (and would also be a huge anticlimax).

It's a god that's deciding to spend its time with some random kid who's trying to catch a bunch of animals. Either it has ulterior motives, or it's bored as fuck.

We don't know. This, however, relies on Cyrus becoming Arceus' trainer in the first place. If it didn't want to do what Cyrus wanted to do, it wouldn't've got caught in the first place.

Those baby forms weren't necessary. IIRC you couldnt even things like chingling and chimeco till mid game and their evolutions are still underwhelming. Munchlax is justified though. And budew only because it's available right away

Gen 2 was only an extension of the first(kept the Catch em' all slogan, Johto anime was apart of the original series, etc.)
Gen 3 however, "rebooted" the franchise(slogan was scrapped due to incompatibility with the GBC games, Hoenn anime wasn't labeled as part of the original series, etc.)

Old evolutions are a good thing for game play and not all of them were for Kanto, retard. In fact, the only ones you could get in the Sinnoh Dex itself in D/P are more correctly all labeled as Johto evolutions save one. That one being Munchlax.

The rest were all Johto or in part Johto:

>Weavile (Sneasel)
>Mismagius (Misdreavus and randomly based on the demo Murkrow instead as it was the one with a witch's hat)

A large portion of the original northeast Gen 2 map became Sinnoh (pic related) so they also included many of the beta mons and theme in new babies and evolutions primarily to Johto Pokémon or those related to it, you moron.

Not to mention almost every Pokémon referenced in the demo was present in Sinnoh.
