You are essentially performing the equivalent of comparing the Abrahamic God to Zeus/Jupiter as well as the rest of the Pantheon in Greco-Roman Hellenism.
Arceus created the universe, yes, but it isn't omniscient or omnipotent. There is no theological complexity to any of the Pokemon gods and worship has more or less shown to be ineffective or at least an old tradition still held on.
You don't see people praying to Arceus because its a real, physical being that doesn't react to prayer. The gods are primordial personifications of concepts, which is much more in lieu with classical polytheistic myth. But even Hellenic myth had several parables about the exploits of the gods, the most you get from Pokemon is Arceus created the universe, created essentially cosmic janitors in Dialga, Palkia and Giratina and then created more cosmic janitors and then went to sleep.
Not only that, it failed with its creation of Giratina. Arceus is fallible. Even in its own feature movie it is shown to be able to be tricked.
