Like a lot of long-running franchises, there are things in Pokemon that just don't make very much sense, were translated poorly from Japanese, or just ended up not being very balanced or interesting. If Game Freak could wipe the slate completely clean and start over, what do you think they would change? It could be something minor like simply changing a name, or something significant like adjusting/removing an entire feature.

For me, I've always thought the pokemon types were translated poorly to English. Shouldn't "grass" type be called "plant" or "flora" or something? Wouldn't "ground" make more sense as "earth" type? "Steel" should probably be "metal", "normal" doesn't make much sense, etc.
