In the end, no closure is given. We already know Lusamine was mad about UBs in the original SM so she made herself look like Pheromosa, and made her childs look like Nihilego and Buzzwole, but there's no reason Guzma (Bug-type user) to look like Xurkitree, even if he was working for Lusamine (and I don't think he does from the start, seeing both evil team clash at some points throughout the game).
