Because this season was supposed to be the Ash superior animation where OLM were supposed to “go all out” in regards to the animation yet most episodes look WORSE than the average XY episode and the battles are probably the worst offenders.

Which again isn’t true. Most episodes are outsourced or animated by the newer members of the team and the only time the animation is as fluid and impressive as advertised is when Iwane or that other guy who’s name I can’t remdmber at the moment is doing the episode.
