Post your current teams and have people rate them. Playing White 2 and about to face the Nimbasa City Gym(s). I'm thinking of getting a Skarmory when I get to Reversal Mountain.

I didnt use any flying types in my usum playthrough but i heard oricorico is actually pretty good since you can change the type to adapt. Also you have a duplicate in normal and grass type and in my experience lurantis is very slow even for an alolan pokemon.

I don't mind the overlap, just trying to use new pokemon whose designs I like, which is why I'm only sticking with gen 7 mons. I loved using everyone on my Sun team, and want to try a new batch later

Masquerain is Suki. Wings look like fans. Porygon is Aang. I was trying to find something with wide coverage for a "use all elements" thing. But I didn't have access to Arceus and I couldn't figure out how to make Silvally work. So I went with Porygon.

Plan is to not battle her yet lmao, not playing right now but I'll try to train up Pevensey and see how hail + weather ball + hidden power ice do against everyone except Skarmory. But yeah not going for it yet, definitely not ready.
