"gang up on the NPC" mode because making actual double battles is difficult
>partner
It's valid as far as "top 5 features" goes, but that just shows how lacking the game is. The bonding feature is just a glorified amie but with only one pokemon per version, which instead of the intended effect in creating a special bond with your partner just cucks the fuck out of the player by forcing them to interact with designated shillmon instead of their actual favourites - should they not particularly care for whichever partner they got. The special moves are basically a way of making sure you don't abandon the partner and that kiddies are less likely to lose yet are pointless when the partner (presumably) won't be able to transfer into the next gen as a result of their special status and improved stats, meaning that in a roundabout way you're just going to end up abandoning them regardless.
>visible encounters
Fair as a concept and top 5 feature but could do with heavy improvement. It doesn't work in the context of Kanto's small, linear routes - would be fantastic with a better world and more interaction beyond walking around.

No problems here.
