I think the graphics in LGPE are okay, but the world design just looks really bad with higher resolution.
Even alola has much more natural looking formations in the pokemon tiered terrain "style", whereas kanto is just a bunch of blocks

LGPE looks very similar to Wind Waker HD, now that I'm looking at all these screenshots. It has the same lime-greenish oversaturated grass, similar looking water (albeit more complex), the tufts of tall grass look pretty much identical, and the whole bloom effect is pretty strong to boot. Why has no one picked up on this yet?
