Z moves were kinda cool for the first few times you saw them, though they were horribly squandered. More Pokemon should have gotten unique ones.

I don't like anything about Platinum. It somehow adds less to DP than Emerald did to RS. It was when I first realized how lazy GF could be.

Neat story, comfy region, cool new pokemon, and an interesting cast
The only big problem I had with Platinum was how boring it was for every single water type trainer to have a party of multiple Gyarados. Other than that it's probably my second favorite game in the series.

I liked the idea of Alolan forms. Really I'd say all of them except for Alolan Rattata/Raticate were interesting, and they were quite good. Alolan Ninetales and Sandslash quickly became some of my favorites. I will also never have complaints about making breeding easier.

I disliked the HM reliance in Platinum and also felt like the Distortion World was quite underwhelming. It should have been more interesting than just a wacky walkway to Giratina. It's been a while since I last played but I also remember Mt. Coronet specifically being really tedious.

Apart from the heavy snow/fog, feels like it's the same environment from hoenn. There is not a refreshing look that the DS could have brought, like what happened with Unova. DPPt was a big let down on this aspect. But some mons and characters are nice, tho.

What? Sinnoh feels nothing like hoenn with the exception of starting routes. The whole region feels northern as fuck, hoenn seems like an equatorial region
