After B2W2 didn't do that well, GF realized that games will still be bought with 1% of the effort as long as it has Kanto elements, decent graphics and cute/waifumons. The result: XY and LGPE

I'd say nostalgia if the models had any kind of expression but they don't and use very stock-like and look worse than how pokemon looked in an n64 game gamecube games and at this point even wii.

I can defend about alot of things about nupokemon but not this
