Take a look at Pokemon Go, at launch the game was horseshit and buggy as hell, but the mere fact it was marketed as "Pokemon in real life you can find anywhere" made it the largest game app in the world, Realistic Pokemon is also the same, they don't have to look good, the movie can be fart jokes galore for kiddies, but as long as it's Pokemon, it will sell. Quality isn't a necessity when it comes to this franchise.
