>>37452126>>37452000I had an idea for a Marshadow event, involving a tourist spot off one of the major Alolan islands. It would be a small place, just a beach and dock, a path with stone torches, and a waterfall with some kind of stone idol or something. Visit there during the day and you'll run into a ton of tourist trainers along the beach and Acerola messing around with a couple shrines in the trees. Around dusk Acerola's dialogue changes, warning you to leave before night fall. After dark all the trainers are gone including Acerola, the music has stopped leaving the area with nothing but atmospheric noises like ocean waves and crackling of the torches. Nothing happens for most of the night but if you stay or go back at midnight and visit the path the torches will turn purple. You'll get a cutscene of the player moving aside as a bunch of Alolan Marowak and other ghost pokemon come marching down the path to the beach to a drum beat. Eventually the marching pokemon peter out and the player walks back out into the path only for a couple Mimikyu to wizz by and the drum beat to come back in full force. The player's shadow extends out as the torches burn brighter, the shadow turning into Marshadow, pissed off at you for interrupting his nightly march.
