>the good1. Sinnoh is a great region with interesting routes and many areas to explore. The lore it gave us is also nice.
2. Introduced Pokemon in gen 4 remain my favourite.
3. Physical/special split coupled with increased number of TMs and improved movepools makes team building more interesting.
4. While not many Sinnoh NPCs are memorable I reckon most of their designs are really good. Presented set of gym leaders is amazing. Barry is a good rival. Rowan is the best professor. Cynthia is loved by many.
5. Relatively rich postgame. You have your battle facility but also postgame areas and few other things to check.
6. Introduction of online interactivity.
7. Pleasant graphics. I really like the sprites and moves' animations.
>the bad1. The campaign takes too long for wrong reasons.
1.1. Battles have weird pauses between dialogue boxes. Coupled with the insanely long time hit points are being depleted makes the game unnecessarily long and slow.
1.2. The overabundance of HM obstacles. The flow of the game suffers from the sheer amount of rocks you need to push or break.
2. Absurd levels at the end of the game and in the postgame. Wild Pokemon are on the level your team is on in Victory Road IIRC. Stark Mountain has Pokemon on levels you won't reach at all without grinding. So yeah, repels are useless.
3. Introduction of inability to store items in PC.
7.5/10 from me. Slightly below the average score for a main game to me.
