Remember when Pokémon was about the monsters and not some girly dancing dress up bullfest? Get these feminine, annoying characters out of these games. Lillie’s SM dialog has nothing to do with Pokémon, she even stops you for like an 8 minute cutscene about her change of clothes, and they didn’t even have the decency to actually have her change her clothes, they just added the 10 minute scene then had her in her same exact blocky, clunky model she has throughout the game and asks “do you like my new clothes” these devs have some balls on them for real. Fuck them.

Her character arc's been finished for a fucking eternity, they need to finally give the limelight to the rest of the class before they run out of time juggling between that, doing trials and prepping for the league, especially since Ash and Gladion are the only kids in Alola who have at least three Pokemon we know of when Ash and his rival usually have a full team by now.

If Gladion was getting it, he would have gotten it off-screen like the Dragonium Z. The fact that they gave it to Lillie in the first place means that they're giving her a Z-Ring.

Also, Gladion can't beat Ash in the league because he's not only the main rival, but a character who exists in the games.

At that point it'd be irrelevant. That's why no one is getting any more Pokemon; it's too late in the series, anything they got at this point would get less screentime than Ash's Palpitoad did. No one else other than Ash or possibly Lillie (Ice Stone) is getting another Pokemon or having one evolve in the remaining 35 or so episodes.

He needs two, not just one. If he just needed one, then yeah, they could pull a Snorunt where it evolved only 15 episodes it was captured, which was in turn only three episodes before the Hoenn League, but this late in the game, anything he catches will be as forgettable as Palpitoad.

Other Pokemon have had a chance to make an impact because of how early into the series their evolutions were. Lycanroc and Torracat being examples. Rockruff evolved very early, and Litten evolved around the halfway point.

Primarina though? No point with the series being this close to its end. There's already only around 35 episodes left, and by the time Brionne does evolve, if it does, there'll be even less than that left. On top of the final trials, the league, the Mohn arc they set up just an episode ago, and Lillie getting her Z-Ring and a potential evolution for her Vulpix, there's simply no time for it.

Except that's patently false anon. SM series isn't ending until the 17th of November, which means they have plenty of time to provide evolutions if they wish. Lillie's also gotten a better chance at showing off Twinkle Tackle as aside from Mina's cameo, she'sthe only other Fariy-affiliated trainer shown in the run.

It's a basic rough estimate based on the new gen games' release that people have done. Basically, ass.
Although the 17th would really be when the new series would start anyway since they'd want to release before Black Friday if they're doing Worldwide Release, so SM would only run until the 10th. So SM episodes would be 147 episodes. From what I understand they lose two weeks because of specials so it's 145, they're at 107 now. Basically 38 episodes.

Lillie is used for Fairy, Ice, and Mew, while Lana is used for Water and Eevee

He hasn't used the Rockium Z at all since he got the Lycanium Z from Nanu. It's obsolete.

If Brionne evolves, the Waterium Z will be obsolete, plus Lana is a Water type specialist. Just like Kiawe only uses the Firium Z, Waterium/Primarium is all that Lana will use.

Lillie on the other hand can have both because she doesn't have a type specialty and her Pokemon is an Ice type that can learn Fairy type moves and evolves into a Fairy type.
