Never mind that they were probably one of the first developers to receive a Switch Devkit, and the fact that Gen 8 still isn't out the door probably forced Nintendo to finally pressure GameFreak after leaving them to their own nuances for so long, and the end result was LGPE so the Switch could FINALLY say "we have a Pokemon game" regardless of the contents of said game.
It's going to be a painfully rocky road when they've already shown immense signs of struggle with 3DS Development, I'm expecting some monumentally bad performance combined with even more fatal bugs that they'll more than likely take a long time to address because they don't give a shit.
