>>37459629Those of us who still care are mostly burnt out. We're not just being ignored, but in many ways mocked.
You cannot tell me with a straight face the increase in Rotom's retardation in US/UM wasn't a fuck you to people who wanted to turn it off, for example.
Not to mention people like Ishihara just saying "Oh we've changed shit a bunch of times, they'll eat it up, don't worry." in interviews when they've done nothing so bad as Trash Go until Trash Go.
He thinks we're a bunch of mindless drones who will buy anything they shit out (which you wouldn't think he'd think considering no side series has ever sold as well meaning we clearly like a certain kind of gameplay). There are enough people who are just that so it doesn't matter that he's not 100% correct, but he doesn't care that he's not, obviously.
Then you have Masuda trying to rush out yearly shit for literally no reason when you look at it from a business standpoint. He's making games thinking about the fact that people have other games to play... So instead of stocking his shelves with content, he's telling people to go shop at other stores. Imagine your local big chain doing that. And if they did, guess who would shortly not be in business anymore?
It all just drains. If we could get someone who mattered here to listen, maybe there'd be a point but otherwise, in general, it's all been said.
There's still problems, so from time to time it's going to need to be said but to focus only on the criticism 100% of the time is just not possible. It's simpler and much less psychologically demanding to just mock the retards for what they are.
Me, personally, I've made my list of shit that needs to be done to fix shit (
https://pastebin.com/raw/ZEvYmaGg) and that's all I can really do. I AM fixing up my ideas and retouching all stats etc. to eventually maybe try my hand at my own game or at least ROM hack but that's a couple thousand hours of work away at least.
