i think it can't learn gunk shot and having no limbs doesn't allow it to learn any other basic èhysical poison attack
it got pretty cucked by the phys/special split and explosion nerf, only got toxic spikes lately
sludge bomb muk and weezing used to hit very hard back then, it also gets curse but it really doesn't have relevant moves to abuse it, pretty sad, at least can be a mediocre pivot and stallmon now, the power creep hit it like many other mons
i run it as scarf timid with destiny bond so it can lure and bait mons to stay and get them revenge killed or stopping some sweeps with bond, it basically outspeeds base 114+ with scarf, defensive one is too clichè
>>37470756it can run mixed for the x4 switchins and x2 physical behemots, fire blast, thunderbolt, ice beam and hydropump were all common since at least gen 3 on physical mons and are still seen in these days
as for absol in general, you know, slow frail mixed attacker was hoenn's finest gimmick or curse depending on how you want to see it, on its defense hidden power had physical types and mixed sets were somewhat viable on many mons
