>>37472900> pikachu/eevee being stupidly overpoweredalthough it's true their base stats are higher (45 / 80 / 50 / 75 / 60 / 120 for pikachu and 65 / 75 / 70 / 65 / 85 / 75 for eevee ) than the base mons and they have maxed IV, it kinda makes up for the fact they can't evolve. The only thing that is broken about them is the new moves, especially on eevee.
I personally like the fact thet eevee is actually usable without evolving, they did a great job making it likable.
for the others flaws, I won't argue with you, except for mew, although I despise the fact that it is a dlc, I was really happy to be able to start with a level 1 mew alongside with eevee.
> wandering wild pokemonit's nice, but it can quickly become a mess and those fuckers don't stay in the fuckin grass but yeah, dragon quest did this years ago
> xp mechanicsnah, it sucks and it's always on, so many overlevelled fuckers, it's not fun anymore.
> catching systemonly casuals throw a ball without weakening the pokemon, sleep is useless now (see previous entry)
> being able to see IVsIV can be up once the game finished (which I can't be bothered to do). this is not new, we have it since alola
> the improved EV systemwhile I do love the idea of adding 200 to every stat on all my pokemons, this shit will fuck my buttons or my patience. plus this candy thing has to go, it's retarded. wouldn't mind the old "defeat pokemons" thing though, it would help with the feeling that +200 feels cheaty
That being said, I wouldn't mind a +500 or plain unlimited if it wasn't a game meant to be played against others, the idea of training a pokemon you like so it gets strong by its efforts rather than just being lucky to be born strong has some appeal to me.
I also like the idea of riding pokemons but I would prefer it to be like the rides in s/m, you register your pokemon to ride and call it whether it is in your team or not and separate it from the following thing.
