People thought 2018 was a bad year for Nintendo. Small number of first-party titles. Not too many third-party ones. But the games they released this year sold in excess of 10 million in under 2 months. Gen 8 is going to be fucking huge.

Furthermore, it's numbers like these that prove that Gen I/Kanto pandering really works. USUM, an actual complete game with every Pokemon at the time, sold less than LGPE. Game Freak once again blowing /vp/ out of the water.
