>>37487745There are some designs which I really like (Flygon, Zangoose, Lati duo, Sceptile) but there is so much weak (Nosepass, Medicham, Armaldo, Chimecho, Claydol) and trash (Illumise, Volbeat, Grumpig, Gorebyss) ones as well. The latter really make Hoenn's dex the worst. Or the second worst, Alola is a strong contender for that title.

When I started playing Pokemon, 2nd gen came out shortly after I've played 1st gen on the emulators. RS were released ~2 years after GS. After that we had to wait twice as much - FOUR years to see DP. Four years felt like forever when I was a teen.
