Mostly Pokemon that fall under some combination of cutesy, whimsical and feminine, or those that were considered Fairies according to the Pokedex before the type existed, with a scarce few who are inspired by actual fairy mythos if none of the above can apply.
Tapu Koko and Tapu Bulu seem to be the only exceptions to the general idea of Fairy Pokemon regardless.

Pokémon based off of actual fairies should all be either grass, psychic, or dark type. Fairies are malicious tricksters. They just decided that they needed a special type because dark types aren’t allowed to look cute, dark types obviously need to appear edgy, despite the fact that a huge part of evil is disgusting itself as something good

Fairies aren't necessarily malicious, just capricious.
Mawile actually fits this quite well; if it's hungry, it will lure you in with its cute face and then take a bite out of your shin, but not because it wants to see you suffer.

Plus there are several cute Dark types already, as well as Dark types that evolve from cute Pokemon.

An easy way to tell is by looking at the type of Pokemon and seeing if it says its a Fairy Type, works for me 100% of the time.

Purrloin and Zorua are pretty undebatably cute. Umbreon, Murkrow, Sableye, and Poochyena could all easily be considered cute by many people too.
