What's the most forgettable area?

>Dark Cave
>Next to the first city, requires flash and a lot of HM to navigate
>By the time you get these HMs you have no reason to go back and explore it, because it's full of weak, uninteresting pokémon and no trainers

A forgettable area would definitely have to be the "Ravaged Path".
It's another cave with no interesting pokemon, and you needs hms to go through it.

this is the sort of shit I love sinnoh for, though
it could have used more interesting pokemon, I agree, but it does give you the first real water-type option outside of the starter and a useless magikarp, which is valuable before a rock-type gym

Another Cave example would be Wellspring Cave in Unova. Another cave you find early on, that you HM's to explore. I only came back here once across several playthroughs of black, white, black 2, and white 2, and it was because there is a tm in it.

You need to beat the first gym, which is the rock type gym, to use rock smash, which is the only way you're getting to the water.

I forgot that Fuego Ironworks existed. I started thinking about the water in that area last year, and did a web search to find out what was there, and oh ship, there's a whole factory hiding back there! It was very strange feeling to re-discover after a decade.

Fuego Ironworks is one of my favorite places in all of pokemon.
You can go through multiple playthroughs without realizing it even exists, and yet it has a lot of flavor and charm to it.
Maybe I'm just biased though, I found it by myself as a kid and thought I was the shit for finding it.

golduck has all around stats and enough speed to pull of a calm mind sweep VS a lot of trainers. Awesome pokemon ingame for casual and nuzlocke plays alike

Oh, I don't doubt it, he just never interested me because his design never appealed to me and no notable trainers ever use one to my memory. Felt similarly about Weezing until a recent run gave me a newfound respect for the pokemon.

I almost always forget Ravaged Path exists until I actually play Sinnoh. There's loads of very samey caves in early Sinnoh so it's pretty boring. And you can't get the Water Pulse TM until you already have Surf so it's nearly pointless to revisit it.

Route 12 in Unova is also pretty forgettable. It goes by so quickly since it's just an open field, and it's between Village Bridge and Lacunosa Town, two way more memorable areas.

Pearl was my first main series game
My team in Pearl in 2006/7 was
>Turtwig (literally, didn't evolve till level 89 2 years later. Regret it now.)

>Pachirisu (was weak AF but I refused to box it cause I felt bad for it)

>Octillery (Honestly my MVP. This guy was over levelled to shit until I got to cynthia)

I transferred them to pokebank when it came out off my 4th gen carts. I regret it so much, I can't even look at the proper locations and dates anymore on them :'(
