No he means between a paired release and its a retarded idea because it'd be confusing for the masses and would make people who like the easy mode version mascot have to pick between that and a better game. Just have hard mode/tutorial disabled locked behind a button combo like save delete or something.

No, there are many things that make that not make sense.

It should just be one new feature complete pair per Gen (not including remakes/side games), but still a pair.
