>>37494155>You dared say kids "know no better" because they watch the animeIf they played the games or even decided to read the manga (because we all know kids love edgy stuff like bad boys, cool poses, murder and such), they would likely prefer those, because again, the Ashnime gets boring when you see it for what it is.
With the games you can engage, the manga has "the cool factor".
The Ashnime has nothing in comparison, but the same predictable turn of events in a loop, with very occasional changes that end up going back to square one making the events that just transpired pointless anyway.
>Maybe you should rethink that projection comment you made, because I sure as hell never mentioned anything about you insulting the anime. You still implied that I insulted people for watching the Ashnime, and I did not. Facts are facts, that's all there is to it.
My wording was incorrect, so I apologize.
What I don't apologize for though, is my opinion on this matter. The show is bland and only kids who don't care or don't know anything better like it.
>And the manga has been rotting since Gen 5 because the author couldn't stay on track with volumes and now can't write jack without rushing. But of course, since you only read Gen 1, I shouldn't expect you to understand that either. For what it's worth, this is the first time I hear this kind of reasonable sounding complaint about the manga in this board.
Given my ignorance on the topic, could you give me some examples?
I mean, I don't care about the manga and I almost definitely won't go back to it (at least not anytime soon), but now I'm curious.
Since you brought up Gen. 5, the only things I know about that is that the main character was trapped in Reshiram's Orb (or maybe it was Zekrom's, whatever) and he was eventually freed.
That, and that the author took a really big hiatus during the BW2 manga.
