>>37494347It's true to some extent. They should've been more but they were a good first start when moving to 3D.
I dislike 3D thoroughly but even I managed to enjoy them for what they were. Nothing will likely look as good as the FR/LG art but they didn't entirely lose the Pokémon spark like I thought would happen. In fact if they'd just made the models not pale as fuck I'd have probably not found any reason to talk about the art style at all beyond their managing to make the 3D not hideous to someone like me who can't stand CGI.
