I am on a quest to play every single Mainline Pokemon game, starting from Pokemon Red. These are my teams, from RGBY to GSC. My rules is that I can't ever use the same Pokemon twice, I must use every Starter at least once, and I must get every Eevee at least once. Going to plan out RSE next. Dunno what I'd do at X and Y.

Here's my Emerald team after beating Steven, transferred them to SS earlier. Gonna fight the E4 and Red with both these guys and my FR team, then start a Normal monotype in Platinum. If anyone has any suggestions for that, go ahead and tell.

I'm not worried, SM has tempered my patience for low encounter rates. I'm more worried about high encounter rates because the second I start looking for it, some cosmic entity is going to everything to make sure I can't find it. Fore example, just finding ONE Poochyena took me more than minutes, 30% encounter rate my ass.

My planned omega ruby team. The Metagross is the shiny event one. The rest are pokemon I haven't used. Can I breed Shroomish to have spore? Because otherwise I won't use it only to keep it unevolved until level 40.
The Mismagius is a bit random, but it is caught already as a level 20 Misdreavus in master ball+nasty plot from dexnav, with timid and perfect speed IV. I think dexnav is the only way to get this combination which really please my balltism.
Any suggestions for last mon? I think maybe Absol.

Currently in Rock Tunnel in Fire Red. Gonna try and make a live dex in each generation, starting off with Gen 3.

More progress. I'm not really sure what my Gen 4 team is going to be, since its Pokemon distribution is so crap. I also can't really plan out a Chesnaught team due to Gen 6 never really getting an "update" version. Any suggestions?

Is Tangela available in Platinum? I want to say it is since that's when Tangrowth was introduced. The thing hits like a ton of bricks, it rapidly became one of my favorites after I used it for HG.

You'll plow the game in no time if you haven't already. Those are some of the strongest mons you can get in the game.

pic related is my team for OR. Tried to pick gen 3 mons (except water rabbit but I can justify that by azurill debut in gen 3) that i never used in a playthrough before. Currently mid evo chicken and loudspeaker in 2nd gym right now and enjoying the ride.

Yeah, I like to use the new pokemon when I play through a new gen. But I had trick room on Yams which made the run a lot of fun since it's my favorite move. Also made Ultra Necrozma a breeze lol

(1/2) I'm currently playing 2 games; this is my Red Nuzlocke team. I have the 'change impossible evolutions' thing so my Kadabra will evolve at lv37. If it were up to me I wouldn't have 2 Normal types on the same team, but my options are pretty slim. As it is I was lucky to get Grass/Fire/Water core with Venusaur Gyarados and Flareon.

(2/2) And this is my team in Pearl. My roommates and I are all Gen 4 fans, so we decided to start a playthrough where we battle after every 2 gyms. Bastiodon and Floatzel were some of my favorites as a kid/teen, so they are a staple nearly every time I play a Gen 4 game. The rest are 'mons I've always wanted to use in a playthrough but never got around to it, especially Toxicroak. I'm also not using a starter, mostly due to the fact that there's 4 of us and only 3 starters, and I wanted us all to have different teams.

Love it. I do monotypes in all regions. I try to use most pokemon of the type from a specific generation. Ie; Mono Fire HG; Typhlosion, Magcargo, Entei, Ho-oh, Magmortar and Blaziken. I also try to make the teams as different as possible. But with remakes is redundant. Also, I don't mind Legendaries/Mythicals as along as they are from that generation. Currently I have over 100 runs in all games, from R/B/Y to LGP/LGE.

I'm trying to be less horrible at pokemon so my girlfriend and I are starting at Pearl/Diamond. All female pokemon run-through for funsies. So far I've caught eight and seen eleven. We're going to battle after we reach the third gym battle, she knows about all the little intricacies (natures, the stats, etc); I am just having fun going and talking to everyone and catching all the pokemon I find and leveling them to around ten. I picked chimchar, she has a piplup, how do I not suck and get pummeled into the ground?

It honestly hardly matters to me as long as Abras are catchable. I can always find at least five other pokemon to make it work. I didn't love gen 6 and 7, to be honest, though. Sort of subpar pokemon in general and Team Flare was garbage.

OP here, we've made it to the pokemon league and I'm going to see if we can do the E4 at our current levels, if not, I'm gonna grind in victory road until everyone's level 50.
Hawkeyed pleople may notice a lack of a Whiscash sprite in my party and on the way to victory road, Since Whiscash was always being outshone by Swalot, I decided to swap Whiscash for a Loudred I caught in victory road since Exploud had high HP like Whiscash and a much bigger movepool and a water type wouldn't be essential for the E4.

OK, I'm going all out. Those are almost all my teams. Up until gen 5 I used only starters so I didn't post it, but I came back and replayed with full teams. Between black 2 and Moon I completed a living dex. I challenge you to rate my supreme taste.

Sludge Bomb, Ice Beam, Amnesia and Toxic.
My plan is for Swalot to buff with Amneisa to resist Drakes Dragon moves (As well as Salamences Crunch and Flamethrower) while hitting his dragons with 4x effective Ice Beams.

When it fully evolves you’ll most likely have the advantage due to typing, and Infernape is faster than Empoleon anyway so just use Close Combat and hope for a OHKO. Otherwise you’ll probably get one shot. Lol

Drake went a lot better than I was expecting since the only threatening moves he had was dig on one of his Flygons and Fly on his Salamence and in both instances, I could heal on the turn they used the move and attack when they hit.
