Does LGPE have the most refined shiny hunting method yet?

I was curious about the shiny methods in past games, so I did some reading. I haven't played a mainline game since gen 3, so I don't know anything about most of the mechanics.

I thought the 31 catch combo thing was unique to let's go, but was surprised to find out that it's not. Poke Radar had chaining up to 40, SOS battles had chaining in increments of 11, 21, and 31 just like let's go. I'd always heard about the Masuda Method, but never actually knew what it was until just now. Good odds, but it seems like a hassle.

So which games have the best shiny odds? Which have the easiest method? It seems like let's go is the most straightforward: just get a 31 catch combo, pop a lure, and get 1/273 odds on everything. The Poke Radar is similar, but seems like so much can go wrong. 1/200 odds is way lower than I was expecting though. People always compain about how much easier it is to find shinies in Let's Go, like the lowest odds in older games were 1/2048 and Let's Go made them WAY more common.

Overworld encounters spawn multiple mons at once, which technically gives you say 4 or 5 rolls of 1/273. IMO the odds seem better this way. Shinies are still rare, but common enough that you can collect them and have a trade economy.
