Have you seen the state of game freak? They’ve ran out of ideas. Gen 7 was lilo and stitch, gen 6 was a cluster fuck, and gen 5 was the last time they put actual effort and they still had to fix it with sequels. They should have never made gen 4 as ambitious as it was because not only was it atrocious but they put themselves in a lore lock in that makes anything else subpar or lack luster.

Hold out hope for Pokemon 2019, I suppose.
