>>37510903I know, besides the "hurr durr, ash musto not win", they forget that there's also an ELITE FOUR and that they could make Ash like Goku where he seeks greater challenges around the world and to actually become THE best pokemon trainer around the world, not just champion of a small region. Besides, Ash has already sort of done that in Orange Islands, which despite not being a region set on the core games, should be as relevant as the alolan league in anime lore (as in, both being small islands that don't really have a league as competitive as other regions, Alola doesn't even have a league yet), I find the logic behind Ash losing every league absurd.
