I know people will crucify me for it but I honestly believed X and Y were good. 2, 4, and 6 are my favorite gens while 3 and 7 are my least favorites. 1 and 5 are middling for me.

Gen 6 was definitely tolerable for me; just disappointing. It is a terrible Gen to come back to for replaying purposes, but my initial impressions of it back in 2013 were of substantial enjoyment. I think the novelty of the first proper fully 3D mainline Pokemon game compounded by superficial aspects like the first new type in over a decade, customizable player characters, and Mega Evolutions painted a pretty rose-colored picture for many Pokefans the world over. I strongly urge you to give it another go from scratch and see if your rankings remain unwavering. I've done 3 runtroughs of LGBT thus far and the game simply has delivered me far more enjoyable replay value than any 3ds game to date. The people who claim you can't Nuzlocke the game are fucking liying, btw. Just putting that out there.

If it only lacked the Challenge Mode of B2, I would have put it 1 tier below. Making it so that you need to complete the game before unlocking an EASIER fucking mode, is just insulting and a literal slap in the face. So yes, it is entirely necessary. The linearity of BW2 was already kinda offputting desu, but at least that extra level of difficulty provided by the hard mode made the slog significantly more engaging. What purpose does an unlockable easier mode serve? The only realistic function I can see is maybe as a way to introduce a younger sibling into the franchise with minimal issues. Even that's a stretch, to be honest.

Reminder that the Easy Mode is actually the hardest mode because GF fucked up and made the enemies the same statwise, with lower levels (number-wise) being the only difference.
So you're playing Normal mode with less Exp gain

Everything. I could write a 600 page essay on everything I hate about N. His appearance is terrible and adds to that hatred, certainly, but even still I hate N on a visceral level. I refuse to replay B/W because I know if I do I will be forced to sit through miles of stupid preachy bullshit from him. I can’t enjoy that game because of him and he ruined the end of B/W 2. I didn’t always hate him but I never liked him, it just grew with time.
