Hi, here's something I saw during a betatest about exploration I did in early January.

> The new region is an Australia-shaped island, with a Great Britain influence in pokémon, style and locations. For some reason there was no Tasmania Island;
> The Map Menu works like in BoTW, by pressing the "-" on your left joycon;
> Both cover legendaries are different than usual. There's a "Blue Dragon" for Australia and some kind of Horse for the GB part. They are crucial for land and under water exploring;
> Yes, it's open world with overworld pokémon, for both land and water. "Dive" is making a return, but not as HM. Pokémon follow you like in LGPE;
> Catching works like in LGPE;
> There are two evil teams, one is Rocket-like (not Rainbow, from what I can tell);
> I saw a few new pokémon, and I recognized a little kangaroo-thing (Ele/Fight), a white parrot (Flying), a boomerang-like bird (more like a flat brown Togekiss) and a black&white clownfish (Water/Dark);
> One npc mentioned a "dark man appeared from the sky". Idk, but I think this man could be Giovanni;
> Multiplayer is there (Let's GO-like icon on the screen), but I wasn't testing it, so I don't know how it works.


OP, why are there no names?
> Every pokémon, npc, map name (region too) or title was replaced with a generic "???", even known pokémon;

Why did you saw so little of the new region?
> My job was to test walking, exploring and diving, so I had a few little zones to test, I could not go everywhere;

What about menu/dex/other stuff?
> I could see the map only when they showed me which zones I had to test, but I could not open the map or every other menu/settings myself.

What about UltraBeasts?

Game titles?
> Same as the first answer. It's not like you go there and "Oh hi here are all the info on our games", so I could not see them anywhere.
