Edgy but I agree. The only reason I like pokemon is the pokemon. I'm not big on JRPGs and the exploration can be fun, but ultimately it's my pokemon that I care about, which is why I love Refresh so much

Gyms should be built around a strategy ie. Speed boosting, trick room etc. With pokemon that can check counters to that strategy. Would be much more interesting.
