I find it retarded how Gamefreak didn't give VC RBY players Mew.

But VC Crystal players get a condensed version of the Celebi event while Gold players get a Celebi code for Gen 7 games.

The only legitimate Mew at this point are Japanese Old Sea Map Mew and LGPE Mew that costs $50.

They actually did a Mew distro when they launched RBY on the VC. That's why it's possible to hack a glitched Mew to be accepted by Bank; it looks for the OT and ID used for that event.

You could edit the save file, but if you don't already know how to do that it's probably more work than doing the glitch.

Japanese carts who had the Old Sea Map can share the key item via Link Cable, similar to how Challenge and Regi keys are shared wirelessly with B2W2 games.

No, the Old Sea Map is region locked.

But a Jap Eon/Aurora/Mystic Ticket will work with a NA/EU cart just fine.

Install it with FBI. Use it.

If you want to use it with your DSiMenu++ games on your SD card, you need to use another app to change a configuration file, but it works just fine.

More tedious than just doing the glitch, unless you have a second gb and link cable, or stadium with two transfer packs.
