But what makes it memorable for me is that it's one of those "surprise cases" (like Tentacruel for example) where a mon looks like an uninteresting weak shit yet once you finally catch one you discover it's actually a monster for ingame.
Technician + 4 multi hit moves is amazing. Tail Slap is stupid strong, and Bullet Seed makes any other offensively oriented plant type irrelevant. He has almost perfect coverage.
I tend to search for one whenever I run BW. The only honest downside having to wait before evolving it about 2 routes and 1 town for it to learn Wake Up Slap if you want that coverage.
Also, I think most of the ones I had were male, I'm surprised to find now 75% of the encounters are female.
