Kalos > Johto > Alola > Sinnoh > Unova > Kanto > Hoenn
I’d personally say I don’t like about 80% of the Hoenn Pokemon, many of my least favorites are from Hoenn. Kanto has the second worse batch in my opinion and I’d still say I only dislike around 30% of them. Hoenn sticks out like a sore thumb in terms of designs, they’re ALL just so weird, it was hard to find a team of six to use in RSE. I usually prefer cute pokemon and hoenn had very few of them, and the few it had sucked absolute ass in battle (Mawile, Delcatty, Altaria, etc). I like all of the Megas and Gen 4 evolutions of Gen 3 Pokemon though, just not the Hoenn Pokemon they come from.
