Does /vp/ play the tower or any of its clones? Any good strategies/streaks to share?

I got past 100 in the Tree's Super Doubles with Salamence-Mega/Kartana/Specs Fini\Snorlax. Fast offense in the front with bulky offense in the back, Fini being a goid switch into Mence for many matches.

Not in awhile, I dressed up the last of my ribbon whores then I was done with it, I doubt I'll touch gen 8's much if it's ribbonless like the Subway.

turn 1 either landorus uses rock slide/eq or u-turns out for metagross. often times metagross will tank an ice attack for landorus. before tapu lele comes out i set a tailwind and sweep from there.

singles team is landorus-metagross-mimikyu with mimikium z

I used a Mega-kangaskhan mimikyu led team for my first 100 wins. Literally just fake out whatever I think will attack mimikyu whilst it swords dances then sweep.

Then I switched to doing fun quirkier teams like rain support Jynx with fake out to help set tailwind or guard/power split shuckle support.

It straight up cheats though and you can prove it some ways.

I got to around 90 with a rain team featuring Pelipper, Tapu Koko, Mega Swampert and Celesteela. It was pretty good but every so often I'd get complacent and fail at stopping a sun setter from ruining everything.

i know the tree for sure tries to counter you after a couple of matches, if you don't think so you havent gotten far enough.
I've tried swapping teams every couple of battles but I end up losing my groove and momentum or just misclick
