Why would they take away the ability to register a bunch of item? This is one of the most underrated features of Gen 5.

But you can have more than 4 things anon, and they don't have to be specifically items, plus you can sort them however you see fit. I really don't understand how you can see X/Y as better.

Obviously you wouldn't need to register literally everything, like the Light Stone. But it would be useful if you registered items you use a lot like the Fishing Rod and the Bicycle. And if somebody likes to use their Medal Box a lot then who's anyone to judge?

In B2W2 you could call Juniper on the Xtranceiver and she would tell you how any pokemon evolved, and that one feature would make blind play throughs of new games sooooo much better. In XY I had two different incidents where I leveled up pokemon really high only to find out that carbink didn't evolve and that sligoo only evolved in rain.

I forgot that feature existed? Was it only in Black and White 2, X/Y and OR/AS? Because I don't remember it in Sun and Moon or US/UM (as there really was no need for the registering an item feature).

The only reason gen 5 needed that is because it had shitty implementation of the touch screen and the UI was slow. Everything is easy to access in the 3DS games.

HGSSS's bottom screen is one of, if not the best, in the series. I love that when you register something you get an icon on the lower screen. It was a really good way to remind me that the berry pots were a thing.

Also the ability to toggle on the running shoes was great but I was already too far gone and continued to hold B even when they were toggled on.

Mainly the running toggle or Simply swap the two movements so holding B makes the player walk. It would be nice for biking too since the player could line up tight walkways or building entrances.

I mean, considering how contrary Festival Plaza is to the user experience, I'd call it a QoL feature.
Friend/Acquaintance/Passerby was a perfect system. Online/VIP barely works
