What is "taru taru" supposed to be translated as? I assume that's the problem.
Is it a sound effect, or is it just supposed to be an extension of "metaru" aka Metal?

>something that's "tarutaru" is drooping and flabby. It's supposed to refer to Meltan's body. "Melty" is pretty much the perfect translation, considering the Pokemon's name. "Dripping" makes no fucking sense, and I don't think whoever changed it to that actually understood what the title meant.

The word is derived from "tarumu", you can see other contextual ways it's used in pic related

Well without me knowing any context, "disembarking Alola" is a pretty strange wording for アローラ上陸. No English speaker would write that except as an awkward translation.

It should be something like "Disembarking on Alola/Disembarkation at Alola! (not sure of the best way to convey this in English, it's not my first language) Melty Metal Panic!"

According to Jisho, タルタル can actually mean "tartar," so they probably got confused/lazy.
But yeah I think droopy/melty/sagging is probably what's intended here.
