Man. I really hope Gen 8 delivers. I hope it's so damn good, it blows every other generation out of the water, including our favorite, whichever one it may be. Something that everyone can look forward to and enjoy for different reasons. Something that even the most jaded and tired fan can crack a smile at. Something that kids today can look back on 20-30 years from now and unironically say "now THAT was a Pokemon game."

Very bitter sweet. I'm honestly going to miss Gen 7, despite its flaws. It quickly became such a familiar setting and some of the more fun characters and pokemon. Fuck Let's GO, though.
