I just completed the Pokédex in Let’s Go: Eevee. I didn’t care too much for this game at first as it strayed a lot from the core RPGs I grew up with but it slowly grew on me. Game Freak really did a great job with this one. I really feel like Let’s Go captures the sense of wonder that I experienced as a child; playing the games on my game boy and watching the original series for the first time. As a kid, I dreamed of running around Kanto region with my Pokémon friends by my side. This game really meant a lot to me and helped me transition out of a rough cycle of depression and addiction. I was able to connect with my family by playing through it with my younger brother who also shares my affinity for Pokémon. It gave us the opportunity to remember all the wonderful parts of my childhood. Thank you for this, Nintendo. Pokémon saved my life.
