I don't think anypone claimed it would get revealed in May anon. But it will get its first gameplay trailer in May (just like all those games you listed got THEIR first gameplay trailer in May. This is non-negotiable, Nintendo will not talk about Pokémon in-depth until it's around 6 months out from release). Which leads us to the problem at hand. Game Freak know there was discontent with SM's reveal (and subsequent lack of info for 3 months) and can't see them repeating the same mistake, especially as the word on the street is they consider this their most ambitious attempt yet by revealing on Pokémon day with nothing to show again.
