Serebii is not the only pokemon wiki and it's not even among the top popular ones. There's nothing in Serebii that you can't find in other websites.
His twitter is nothing a feed of him complaining about the Pokemon community, and bashing people for having different opinions than him.
as you see above, he's a hypocrite. He always acts like he's always right about everything and when he gets "BTFO" he denies hard and make excuses "Ah, I forgot that Fairy type was announced XD" and "That source that My Japanese friend sent me is questionable, I gotta recheck things"
He's really just more known because it's the only site-owner who is vocal and use social networks.
