BW and BW2 are simply the best singleplayer experiences, with tons of story. The characters actually had real motivations and I felt like there were stakes.
Usually a pokemon game is just "bad guys bad catch legend" and while BW kept some of the tropes, they did it in a cool way.
Overall just had some good experiences with Gen 5 as a whole.
