>>37575911For every RNG-based ability there are like 15 solid ones.
>>37575916My point is, ORAS still has some features that keep the game interesting to revisit or make it stand from the original games including day/night system, Miracle places, Triple/Rotation battles, Legendary Pokemon hunting, Mega Stones search, Dexnav, postgame wild Pokemon, Delta Episode, soaring, and still holds extra features like Amie, Contests, Secret Bases, and a (kinda) Safari Zone, which all make the games feel more complete. Also, there's an infinite battle facility to keep you entertained after completing every other sidequest or minigame.
I miss the Battle Factory and Battle Pyramid for giving an actual challenge for the player, but shit like the Battle Dome (glorified Tower), Palace (auto battles), Pike (get free status conditions) or Arena (3-turn battles) which don't really feel that challenging but rather hit-or-miss.
On the other hand, LGPE barely adds content and removes features that could give the game some depth or strategy to the battles, and a lot of the content they removed wasn't really a problem (Amie, day/night system, a lot of moves) and the only things they added were some trainers rematches and respawning items as well as a GO-related minigame.
