Catfags are happy. They got VGC, Smash, plenty of surprisingly good merch and a good amount of official art, M20, even the anime in general (Torracat may not evolve but we STILL get a much-appearing Incineroar). They ultimately can laugh off the increasing minority of haters and shitposters.
People who hate Incineroar meanwhile can just ignore threads and know even if Incineroar's a shillmon it'll end up like Blaziken and worst and Lucario at best, a mon that's always around in the background or a general Pokemon rep somewhere but no longer actively shilled. Gen 7 ends soon enough.
