The ONLY use I've ever heard argued in favor for babymos, is letting you have access to pokemon you want earlier in the game without being too broken, like they could theoretically put a riolu early in game so you could eventually have a lucario without waiting late game. Main issue with that is that baby pokemon usually evolve with happiness, so just a lot of walking and items can subvert that and get you an extremely early lucario anyways
