I honestly like how LGPE handles Pokemon management. Not so much the catching method itself but I like how the game encourages catching a lot of Pokemon for candies(stat boosts) and better encounters. The portable PC can trivialize the difficulty but quick access does help the whole GO-esque system, plus the master trainer challenge encourages use for every Pokemon.
