The reason the games won't be called King and Queen is because those are not polar opposites in any way, or even all that different. They're supposed to be a couple, no? Their only distinguishing factor is gender. Why not just call it Male and Female then? Because that would basically be inciting intergender conflict, which is something nobody not an insecure moron wants. Same for King & Queen if it was to be interpreted that way, which it plausibly could be.
