It's kinda hard to make an interesting shiny Gengar. I tried giving it a different eye color and making it blue. I'm not sure if this is any better than the normal gray-ish shiny.

I have a lot of garbage for this. I'll start with this one since Krookodile seems to be the popular choice here. Since Krookodile is based on an alligator, I made it green (crocodile is the Spanish word for alligator).

I also used the palette for Druddigon. Druddigon is also a lizard just like Krookodile. Both things are green. I think that's neat.

Apparently good res Blastoise sprites don't exist.

Venusaur was made more of a sand toad with an orange easter lily variant of the rafflesia (didn't come across quite that way, but I like the autumn vibe it has).

Charizard is just based on Maleficent.
