However, Pokemon has multiple variables different from texas holdem
-The meta is so much extremely larger with all the POSSIBLE sets, and then all the known or viable sets. This makes it a completely different environment.
-Pokemon has many different win conditions in battle, and factors to watch out for and play against. Texas only has the flip of the river, and how you bluff to your opponent. Pokemon has this too, but with much more layers.
All in all I think both can be good games of skill. Just because mons has a larger rule book to remmeber all of what works and has some more meta understanding doesnt justify it being more skillful.
